Blockreward: 2020 Year in Review
2020 was an exciting year for Blockreward!
We launched on 1st June 2020 and just 7 months later, our user base grew to over 21,300+ users.
Let’s dive in and review the major milestones that Blockreward has achieved in 2020 to be the easiest place to earn crypto.
June
- Blockreward, the easiest place to earn crypto, is launched with support for USD Coin (USDC). Our mission is to make crypto accessible to all.
- Pivoted from stablecoins only to support cryptocurrencies and added Bitcoin (BTC).
- Launched Quests to reward active users and reached 1000 users.
July
- An additional 60 countries are supported.
- Launched #FreeCryptoFridays where free crypto is given away every Friday.
August
- Launched weekly Leaderboard where the top 10 weekly earners are rewarded with additional crypto.
- New redemption option: Ethereum (ETH)
September
- Uphold integrated into Blockreward to enable seamless redemption of rewards for crypto directly into an Uphold wallet.
- New redemption options: Litecoin (LTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH) & XRP
October
- Launched Shop to enable users to earn cashback in crypto when they shop online, adding a new way to earn crypto on Blockreward.
- New redemption options: True USD (TUSD) & Dash (DASH)
November
- Blockreward partners with Uphold enabling 3.5 million Uphold users to earn crypto when they shop online, play games, try products or share their opinions.
- User base breaches the 10,000 users mark.
December
- Blockreward collaborates with Maker Foundation to launch the DAI-zling Christmas campaign to give away $2400 in DAI rewards. Through this collaboration, Blockreward aims to make it easy for anyone to earn DAI and use it at a wide variety of decentralized applications in the Dai ecosystem.
- User base breaches the 20,000 users mark.

Moving forward into 2021
2020 was an exciting year for Blockreward, from being a relatively unknown crypto rewards platform to partnering with Uphold, one of the largest cryptocurrency platforms in just a short span of 7 months.
2021 is the year of crypto and we are extremely excited to continue building Blockreward to create more innovative ways for anyone to easily earn crypto through their daily online activities, helping further our mission to make crypto accessible to all.
